Hunters Pointe is a community of 77 Homes which started in 1979 (with the last house being finished in 1986). We've provided a
map of the surrounding area.
We have residents of all ages; from first-time homeowners in their 20's to retired folks. Many of our residents work for various branches of Federal Government or at the U.S. Naval Academy which is the primary reason for our many new faces and homeowners in some years. In our neighborhood there are many families with children, from babies to elementary school age to high school age, and thus there are many stay-at-home moms here as well. Along with families come pets, and we do have quite a few dog and cat owners. Our neighborhood is very friendly, peaceful, and picturesque. Most people live here because of the suburban setting, the excellent schools, or the proximity to Metropolitan amenities, - only 25 miles east from Washington, D.C. and 20 miles south of Baltimore, MD. You'll constantly see people out walking, running, working in their yards, walking their dogs, or playing and having a great time.
Our children attend Anne Arundel County Schools. Our children grades K-5 go to Belvedere Elementary, grades 6-8 go to Severn River Middle School, and grades 9-12 go to Broadneck High School. All of these schools are in Arnold, and they are all excellent!

Because Hunters Pointe has a community park along with a common area that surrounds the entire neighborhood, we are organized into The College Station Community Association of Hunters Pointe. Our Association provides maintenance of the common area as well as repair and replacement of playground equipment, lighting at the entrance and throughout the community, and lawn mowing and gardens in the front entrance of the community. Because of all these provisions, which are set forth in our Declaration of Covenants, membership in the Association is mandatory for all homeowners. The annual assessment (dues) for the Association is currently $100.
